Official visit to the Republic of Moldova

On 11-13 September 1995 Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko was on an official visit to the Republic of Moldova. In Chisinau he met with Moldova President Mircea Snegur, top government and parliament officials. A number of bilateral documents were signed. The building of the Belarusian embassy was opened.

The heads of state and members of the official delegations visited the Porumbeni Horticulture Institute, which specializes in studying corn and sorghum, and visited the institute’s experimental fields.
