Belarus and Iran reaffirmed mutual interest in the enhancement of bilateral contacts. Further expansion of bilateral cooperation was discussed at the meeting of Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Meeting with Iran President Mohammad Khatami who paid an official visit to Belarus on 10 September.
