Commercial organizations get additional opportunity to manage foreign exchange differences

On 18 February Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 51 to introduce amendments to Decree No. 159 of 12 May 2020 “On the recalculation of the value of assets and obligations”.

In accordance with the document, commercial organizations got an opportunity to include foreign exchange differences formed from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2022 in increments in the list of non-operating income (expenses) for taxation purposes.

The Decree will help minimize a negative impact of foreign exchange rate fluctuations and stabilize the operation of commercial organizations in unfavorable epidemiological conditions.
