Commentary to Decree No. 353 of 2 August 2012

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 353 "On Introducing Amendments and Additions to Decree No. 400 of 2 August 2010 of the President of the Republic of Belarus."

The document envisages an increase in the number of the Belarusian quota in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) from nine to eleven people. Two medical workers will make the addition to form the national health care team in the UNIFIL hospital. Belarus received the relevant proposal from the United Nations Secretariat.

The move will be Belarus’ real contribution in strengthening the international peace and security.
