Belarus President makes new appointments

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made new appointments on 13 June.
The head of state appointed:
- Yuri Lazarchik Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Iran;
- Andrei Popkov Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea;
- Alexander Mikhnevich Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Kingdom of Belgium, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the European Atomic Energy Community, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization with concurrent accreditation, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with concurrent accreditation;
- Igor Leshchenya Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Slovak Republic;
- Vladimir Goshin Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Kingdom of Cambodia with concurrent accreditation;
- Igor Sokol Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine;
- Alexander Tserkovsky Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Federative Republic of Brazil;
- Dmitry Kuptel Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uganda with concurrent accreditation;
- Gennady Smolsky Deputy Chairman of the State Military Industry Committee.
The president also approved the appointment of:
- Leonid Martynyuk as Chairman of the Bereza District Executive Committee;
- Anatoly Gaponik as Chairman of the Lelchitsy District Executive Committee;
- Sergei Dmitrov as Chairman of the Loyev District Executive Committee;
- Alexander Dubovik as Chairman of the Dyatlovo District Executive Committee;
- Yuri Valevaty as Chairman of the Mosty District Executive Committee;
- Nikolai Astreiko as Chairman of the Volozhin District Executive Committee;
- Alexander Gabrukevich as Chairman of the Starye Dorogi District Executive Committee;
- Andrei Kulazhenko as Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Munich (the Federal Republic of Germany);
- Vladimir Chekhlov as Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Odessa (Ukraine);
- Mikhail Demchenko as Director of OAO Agat – Control Systems – Management Company of Geoinformation Control Systems Holding Company;
- Andrei Kuznetsov as Rector of the Vitebsk State Technological University;
- Sergei Khakhomov as Rector of the Francysk Skaryna Gomel State University;
- Andrei Yevdochenko as First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs;
- Natalya Zhukova as Deputy Healthcare Minister – chief state sanitary inspector of the Republic of Belarus;
- Vladimir Ryabovolov as Deputy Information Minister;
- Yuri Chebotar as Deputy Economy Minister;
- Yelena Perminova as Director of the Tourism Department at the Sport and Tourism Ministry;
