Belarus President makes new appointments

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko announced new appointments on 3 September.

The head of state appointed:

Vyacheslav Rossolai – Deputy Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee;

Valery Vakulchik – State Secretary of the Security Council;

Ivan Tertel – Chairman of the State Security Committee (KGB);

Vasily Gerasimov – Acting Chairman of the State Control Committee;

Anatoly Sivak – Deputy Prime Minister;

Vladimir Kukharev – Chairman of the Minsk City Hall.

The President also approved the appointment of:

Andrei Baranovsky as Deputy Chairman of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee;

Sergei Dovgalev as Chairman of the Oktyabrsky District Executive Committee;

Sergei Yermolitsky as Chairman of the Gomel District Executive Committee;

Dmitry Kozel as Chairman of the Dobrush District Executive Committee;

Aleksandr Grigorenko as Chairman of the Zhlobin District Executive Committee;

Vladimir Kozyr as member of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee and the Minsk City Hall.
