Belarus government officials reprimanded for theater reconstruction violations

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has reprimanded Vice Premier Anatoly Kalinin and former culture minister, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to France Pavel Latushko. The reprimand has been given for failures to fulfill instructions of the head of state concerning the reconstruction and restoration of the building of the Yanka Kupala National Academic Theater. The failures resulted in longer time to re-open the theater and violations in spending state budget money.
