Belarus’ delegation to take part in Hugo Chavez’s funeral
Under the instruction of President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko, an official delegation of Belarus will go to Caracas to take part in the funeral ceremony of President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Hugo Chavez. The delegation will include Co-Chairman of the Belarus-Venezuela High-Level Commission Viktor Sheiman and First Deputy Premier of Belarus, Co-Chairman of the Belarus-Venezuela commission for trade and economic cooperation Vladimir Semashko.
The Belarusian President has sent personal messages of condolence to the family of Hugo Chavez, his brother, Governor of Barinas State Adan Chavez, Vice-President Nicolas Maduro and Chairman of the National Assembly of Venezuela Diosdado Cabello.
By the decision of President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko, flags will be flown at half-mast at the Presidential Palace and other government buildings all over Belarus for three days.
All TV and radio channels have been recommended not to broadcast entertainment programs.
