President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has wished Happy Easter to Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill. “Easter brings the light of kindness, love and hope to everyone making people believe that they are part of eternal Christian values,” the message of greetings reads. “Thanks to your tireless efforts and archpastor care the Eastern Orthodox Church contributes to strengthening moral basics of the society, helps maintain stability and accord, takes an active part in the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage. I am convinced that your wisdom and spiritual experience will be a good moral beacon for many people, a genuine example of selfless service to the Church and the Fatherland,” the head of state noted.
