Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings on occasion of 90th anniversary of Belarus' National Library

President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent his best greetings to the personnel of the National Library of Belarus on the occasion the 90th anniversary of the library.

According the head of state, the library made a great contribution to the development of the economy and the social sector of independent Belarus. The opening of the new building of the National Library was a landmark event. The new building made the Belarusian National Library one of the best national libraries in the world.

"At present the library houses a unique collection of old-printed and modern electronic books and other document. It is the largest information, social and cultural center in the country, a leading scientific research establishment," the congratulatory message reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the personnel of the library strong health, labor achievements, happiness and well-being.
