Aleksandr Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to Yuri Bondarev
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Hero of the Socialist
Labor Yuri Bondarev.
“Huge talent, personal experience, courage and perseverance of a veteran of the Great Patriotic War were embodied in your novels and stories which are by right considered one of the best Russian literary works of the 20th century,” the felicitation message reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko also noted: “People in Belarus appreciate you as a wonderful master of word and a renowned public figure who has done a lot to enhance cultural ties between our countries.”
