Aleksandr Lukashenko sends anniversary greetings to IOC President

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent a letter of anniversary greetings to President of the International Olympic Committee Jacques Rogge.

“You make a profound contribution to the development of the international Olympic movement. We appreciate your efforts to promote Olympic ideals among young people which gave a strong impetus to the organization of the Youth Olympic Games,” the message of congratulations runs.

According to the head of state, the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus is ready to continue fruitful cooperation in every area implemented by the International Olympic Committee.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Jacques Rogge every success in strengthening the image of the International Olympic Committee in the world community.
