Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulates Israel on Independence Day

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of Israel Shimon Peres, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the people of Israel on Independence Day.

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted with pleasure that Belarus and Israel forge bilateral contacts in the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states.

"Today's Belarusian-Israeli relations are based on bilateral contracts in various industries. I hope that you will support joint efforts to promote cooperation between the two countries," the Belarusian head of state stressed.
