Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulates Alexander Mikhailov on 980th anniversary of Kursk
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Governor of Russia’s Kursk Oblast Alexander Mikhailov and Kursk residents on the 980th anniversary of the city.
Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that during its long history Kursk has become famous as the city of diligent workers and brave soldiers.
“I am glad that scientific, technical, and cultural ties between the Republic of Belarus and Kursk Oblast are increasingly vibrant. Over the past decade the volume of bilateral trade increased threefold,” the Belarusian President said.
The head of state expressed confidence that Belarus and Kursk Oblast still have big untapped potential for cooperation. Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space gave new opportunities to boost cooperation.
