On the improvement of timber registration

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 50 “On the improvement of timber registration” on 18 February.

The document envisages the introduction of a unified national automated system of timber registration. This system will be mandatory for all operators in the process of economic and other activities involving timber processing.

Besides, the document has simplified regulations concerning the transfer of timber. Corresponding documents will be processed in electronic format.
