On conferment of state awards

Decree No. 456 of 30 December 2025

Forty-eight individuals from various areas of activity, as well as three organizations, have been honored with state awards. Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed the corresponding Decree and Executive Order on 30 December.

Orders, medals, and honorary titles have been awarded to 38 workers from various enterprises, organizations, and institutions for their many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, and significant personal contribution to improving the judicial system, combating crime, ensuring constitutional legality, state security, protecting state interests, implementing state information policy, developing the oil and chemical industries, achieving high production indicators, excellent achievements in state service, project activities, and in the areas of healthcare, education, science, culture, and sports.

The Order of the Fatherland, 2nd Class, has been awarded to Valentin Sukalo, Chairman of the Supreme Court of Belarus (1997-2025). The Order of the Fatherland, 3rd Class, has been awarded to Piotr Miklashevich, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Belarus (2008-2025), and Yuri Kharin, Director of the Research Institute of Applied Mathematics and Informatics at Belarusian State University. Aleksandr Sharapo, a professor at the Department of International Relations at Belarusian State University, has been awarded the Order of Honor.

Seven employees of the Investigative Committee have been awarded the For Excellence in Public Order Protection medal, including Yuri Garin, senior investigator for particularly important cases of the department for investigating organized crime and corruption in Brest Oblast, under the Main Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Corruption of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee, and Andrei Kashevich, Head of the Forensic Department of the Investigative Committee Directorate for Gomel Oblast.

A large group of workers has been awarded the For Labour Merits medal. Among them are Oksana Diakevich, Deputy Director for Core Activities at the Minsk Oblast Center for Correction and Development Training and Rehabilitation; Svetlana Zdoronkova, a physics teacher at Secondary School No.34 in Bobruisk; Aleksandr Pishchik, a worker at the Production Association Belorusneft; and Ivan Skarzhinsky, a surgeon at the Brest Central City Hospital.

The Francysk Skaryna Medal has been awarded to Sergei Gusachenko, First Deputy Chairman of the National State Television and Radio Company, and Olga Shpilevskaya, Director of the National Branch (Representative Office) of the Interstate Television and Radio Company Mir in Belarus.

The For Impeccable Service Medal, 2nd Class, recognizes the merits of Dmitry Khvashchevsky, Head of the Main Financial Department of the Belarus President Administration. The For Impeccable Service Medal, 3rd Class, has been awarded to Yelena Mitkova and Svetlana Nosakova – Deputy Head of the Legal Department and Head of the Personnel Department of the Belarus President Administration, respectively.

The Decree also awarded honorary titles of the Republic of Belarus.

The title Honored Worker of the Mass Media has been awarded to Dmitry Zhuk, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the Belarus President Administration institution Publishing House Belarus Segodnya. The title Honored Employee of State Security Agencies has been awarded to Ivan Tertel, Chairman of the State Security Committee (KGB). The title Honored Master of Sports has been awarded to Ivan Litvinovich, a sports instructor of the Belarusian national trampoline team at the National Olympic Training Center for Gymnastics.

Presidential Acknowledgments have been announced for 10 individuals from various areas, as well as three organizations: the Gomel Chemical Plant – for its significant contribution to the development of the chemical industry and efficient production activities; the National Olympic Training Center for Gymnastics; and the National Olympic Training Center Stayki – for their significant contribution to the development of their respective sports and the training of high-class athletes.

Awards have been given to Maksim Zaretsky, Deputy Head of the Aviation Technical Base for Production at the Aviation Company Belavia, and Aleksandr Melets, Director of the Integrated Circuit and Assembly Plant branch of the Integral Holding Management Company – for their many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, and significant personal contribution to the development of civil aviation and microelectronics, respectively.

A Presidential Acknowledgment has been announced for Irina Kurochkina, a sports instructor of the Belarusian national freestyle wrestling team at the National Olympic Training Center Stayki, for her high professional skill and achievement of excellent sports results in international and national freestyle wrestling competitions. Alim Selimov, Chairman of the Belarusian Wrestling Federation, and Tadeush Yushkevich, a professor the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture, have been honored with this award for their conscientious and fruitful work, high professionalism, and significant personal contribution to the development of physical culture and sports. 

For their significant personal contribution to the implementation of state information policy, high professionalism, and objective, comprehensive coverage of social, political, economic, and cultural events in the country, Presidential Acknowledgments have been announced for five media workers. The awards have been given to Anton Vasyukevich, general producer of the General Production Center of Belarusian Radio; Maksim Vecherkov, correspondent at the Information Broadcasting Directorate of the Second National Channel; Natalia Gorokhovik, Chief Director of the Main Directorate of the First News TV Channel; Yevgeny Pustovoi, political analyst in the department of political analysts at the Information Broadcasting Directorate of the Capital Television Channel; and Irina Yegorshina, head of the photo information processing sector in the department for covering the activities of the President of the Republic of Belarus within the editorial office for covering presidential activities at the Belarusian Telegraph Agency (BelTA).
