On conferment of state awards
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 374 on the conferment of the Order of Mother.
For giving birth to and bringing up five and more children the Order of Mother has been awarded to representatives of various professions and fields of activity. These include workers of manufacturing and agricultural enterprises, the construction industry, housing and utilities organizations, trade outlets, educational and healthcare institutions, workers of the social sector, culture, religious organizations, self-employed entrepreneurs and housekeepers.
Among the awardees are milking machine operator of the Villiya-Agro farm in Kobrin District Olga Boiko, housekeeper from the village of Borisovo, Kobrin District, Yulia Kozak, nurse’s aide of the Pruzhany Central District Hospital Olga Predko, teacher of kindergarten No. 10 in Vitebsk Natalia Butorovich, worker of the Verkhnedvinsk affiliated company of Polotsk Bakery Zhanna Laisha, head cashier of shop No. 187 in Glubokoye Anna Turchinovich, music teacher of kindergarten No. 17 in Rechitsa Yelena Yerenkova, worker of Zhlobin Bakery of Gomelkhlebprom Olga Korshunova, worker of the Zarya farm in Loyev District Alla Prishchep, housekeeper from Volkovysk Viktoria Markevich, inspector of the personnel department at the Voronovo secondary school Yulia Yurgo, specialist of the agricultural enterprise Mozheikovo in Lida District Irina Yaskel, nurse’s aide of the Mogilev Oblast Clinical Hospital Lilia Zaitseva, worker of the Slavgorod District Consumer Society Nadezhda Solovarova, worker of the Bobruisk department of OAO Mogilevsoyuzpechat Diana Shirova, worker of bus depot No. 4 of OAO Minskobltrans Marina Melnikova, registered nurse of the Soligorsk Central District Hospital Natalia Stashits, economist of the agricultural enterprise Vostok in Minsk District Marina Shlyk.
The Order of Mother has been awarded to 190 women from Brest Oblast, Vitebsk Oblast, Gomel Oblast, Grodno Oblast, Mogilev Oblast, and Minsk Oblast.
