On appointment and dismissal of judges
Decree No. 355 of 7 October 2026
On 7 October, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 355, introducing personnel changes to the judicial system.
New heads of several courts have been appointed, and the mandates of some sitting chairs have been extended. Among them is Tatyana Tupik, who was reappointed as Chairwoman of the Minsk City Court for a new five-year term.
The judiciary has been reinforced with 20 new judges who previously worked within the court system, law enforcement, tax authorities, customs, the legal profession, and the banking industry.
