On the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park
Decree No. 253 of 5 June 2012
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 253 "On the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park".
The company will be in charge of designing and building the facilities the general layout of the industrial park specifies. The company will take care of inviting investors, managing the park’s facilities, and developing its infrastructure. Belarus will own 40% of the company’s authorized fund, with China owning the rest. Still the Belarusian side will not lose control because major decisions will be made by the board of directors where the Belarusian side will have a blocking vote.
The authorized fund will be made of foreign currency contributions of the founders.
Salaries of employees of the company and/or resident companies of the industrial park will be subject to a 9% income tax till 1 January 2027.
