Order for Promotion of Peace and Friendship

The Order for Promotion of Peace and Friendship is awarded to leaders of foreign states, high-ranking officials working in state bodies of foreign countries, outstanding politicians and public figures in recognition of:

• considerable achievements in the enhancement of bilateral relations with the Republic of Belarus, provision of full assistance in its socio-economic development and prosperity;
• significant personal contribution to the establishment of friendly relations and economic cooperation between the states, the integration of the Republic of Belarus in international associations;
• active peacemaking activities, harmonization of international relations, sponsorship aid and organization of high-profile humanitarian events for the benefit of humanity, promotion of unity and harmony in the global community.

The Order for Promotion of Peace and Friendship is worn on the order chain.
