United Nations Climate Change Conference in Dubai

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko is attending the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Dubai.
The summit is taking place in Dubai. It has brought together representative delegations from more than 150 countries. On the first day of the summit, about 90 dignitaries will participate in the plenary session.
In Expo City the Belarusian head of state was welcomed by UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
Before the official opening of the forum and the start of the plenary session, Aleksandr Lukashenko held a number of meetings with his colleagues, including the leaders of Azerbaijan, Serbia, Cuba, Zimbabwe, Equatorial Guinea, Congo, Togo and Botswana.
Aleksandr Lukashenko is expected to voice Belarus' approaches and proposals to address global issues of climate and environmental security. On the sidelines of the summit, the head of state will hold a number of meetings and negotiations.
