Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulates To Lam on re-election as Vietnamese Communist Party leader

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended congratulations to To Lam on his re-election as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee.

“The unanimous decision of the Central Committee not only testifies to the excellent results of your work in this position but also confirms the confidence of the Party and the people of Vietnam in the further successful economic and social development of the country under your wise leadership,” the message of congratulations reads.

The head of state expressed confidence that the landmark decisions adopted at the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam will contribute to the continuous prosperity of the country and the enhancement of Hanoi’s international authority and role in global affairs.

The President emphasized that he expects dynamic cooperation between Belarus and Vietnam and its further fruitful development in the interests of the two countries.

“I accept your kind invitation to visit hospitable Vietnam with respect and pleasure. I look forward to a meeting to continue the dialogue on all issues of bilateral and multilateral agenda,” the Belarusian leader noted.

Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended his wishes to To Lam for good health, energy, and success in fulfilling his important duties.
