Air Force Day greetings

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the personnel and veterans of the Air Force on their holiday – Air Force Day.

“The history of domestic aviation is made up of many chapters about the valor, courage and fortitude of heroes during the Great Patriotic War, in the skies of Afghanistan and other hotspots and during the clean-up operations of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident,” the head of state noted. “Sacredly preserving the victorious traditions of veterans, the aviation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus continues to develop dynamically, mastering new technologies and the experience of using aircraft in the context of modern warfare.”

The president noted that at the core of this important military branch are the people devoted to what they do: highly qualified specialists from enlisted personnel to generals, who through their diligent efforts enhance the strength of Belarusian military aviation every day.

“I am confident that you will continue to remain one of the main pillars of our army, reliable defenders of the peaceful sky, and guarantors of the country’s security and sovereignty. I wish you good health, inexhaustible energy, vigor, and optimism. May prosperity and harmony reign in your families, and may every day bring new successes and achievements for the benefit of our dear Belarus,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
