Greetings to Belarusian traffic police on professional holiday
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the personnel and veterans of the State Automobile Inspectorate on the 90th anniversary of its foundation.
“Over these decades filled with important historical events the traffic police officers have been successfully accomplishing all tasks to ensure safety on the country’s roads and prevent traffic accidents regardless of the circumstances,” the congratulatory message reads.
The head of state noted that today traffic inspectors are assisted by modern technical solutions, software, and various databases. “But well-trained professionals, who are capable of self-sacrifice for the sake of the safety of our citizens, have always been and remain the most precious resource,” the President emphasized.
Aleksandr Lukashenko pointed out that to a large degree competent actions of traffic police officers determine the further improvement of the driving culture of motorists and the responsibility of pedestrians, and consequently – a reduction in the number of road accidents.
The President thanked all the personnel and veterans of the State Automobile Inspectorate for their impeccable service and loyalty to the oath, and wished them and their loved ones good health, happiness, and a peaceful sky above their heads.
“I am firmly convinced that every guardian of Belarusian roads will continue making every effort in order to discharge their duties in an exemplary manner,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
