Greetings to Indian President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi

    Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the country celebrates Independence Day.

    “Your state rightfully enjoys international clout and plays a significant, constructive role in addressing topical issues on the global agenda. We highly appreciate the efforts of the Indian leadership to implement large-scale reforms, ensure stability, and maintain harmony in the country,” the head of state said in his message to the Indian President.

    Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized that Minsk is invariably committed to deepening dialogue with New Delhi and expects active joint efforts to push bilateral relations to a brand new level, both politically and economically.

    In his message to the Indian prime minister, the head of state noted: “Under your wise leadership, India is confidently moving along the path of progress, strengthening its standing as one of the global centers of stability and economic growth. India is an important and reliable partner of Belarus on the global stage. I highly appreciate the spirit of friendship and support that exists between our countries and look forward to further deepening bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, science, and technology.”

    Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that through joint efforts, the two countries will succeed in elevating Belarusian-Indian relations to a strategic level.
