Belarusian summer camp Zubrenok to run three sessions for Syrian children
The Belarusian national children’s education and recreation center Zubrenok will host 225 children from Syria. Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed an executive order to earmark the funds for these purposes.
Zubrenok will run three sessions for Syrian chidlren. The program of the stay includes sanatorium and health services, medical examination, excursions, cultural events.
Belarus has hosted Syrian children as part of a humanitarian assistance program annually since 2017. This contributes to the further development of bilateral cooperation between the countries in humanitarian matters and education, friendly relations between the two peoples and popularization of the history and culture of Belarus.
