Aleksandr Lukashenko signs decree to raise retirement pensions on 1 September

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 259 to raise pensions.

According to the decree, labor pensions will be recalculated and increased by an average of 5% on 1 September 2023.

In September, Br1.7 billion will be allocated to pay pensions, of which Br72 million is additional costs associated with the increase in accordance with the decree.
