There are many reasons why foreigners want to study in Belarus: high level of security, favorable geographical location, affordable prices, cleanliness, friendly people and an opportunity to find a job in a given area of expertise while studying.

Foreign citizens can receive vocational and post-secondary vocational training, higher education, postgraduate and additional education.

In the 2018-2019 academic year, more than 23,000 foreign citizens from 108 countries received education at Belarusian educational institutions.

In 2019, export of educational services rose by 3.8% ($79 million).
