President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the staff of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on the 80th anniversary of the founding of this institution.
‘Over the years of its history, the Academy has turned into a large intellectual and humanitarian centre, made an enormous contribution to the progress of the national economy, science and culture. It has cultivated a constellation of eminent scholars who have glorified Belarus’, said the President in his letter of congratulation to the staff of the National Academy of Sciences.
Today the Academy is the leading institution in a range of priority areas of research, helps expand the ties between science and production. ‘We are rightfully proud of the achievements of Belarusian scholars, appreciate their professionalism, creative energy and commitment to their calling’, said the President. |
