Judiciary
Judicial power belongs to courts. Judiciary consists of the Constitutional Court and the system of courts of general jurisdiction.
The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus ensures the constitutional nature of regulatory acts in the state.
The Supreme Court heads the system of courts of general jurisdiction and is the highest judicial body for civil, criminal, administrative and economic cases.
The formation of extraordinary courts is prohibited in Belarus.
