Greetings to member of national weightlifting team Yauheni Tsikhantsou

Belarus President, President of National Olympic Committee Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated member of the national weightlifting team Yauheni Tsikhantsou on winning a gold medal at the 2019 World Weightlifting Championships in Pattaya, Thailand.

“Just like at the European championships this year, you demonstrated your wonderful physical fitness and the will to fight till the end. Well done!” the message of greetings reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked that all Belarusian sports fans share the joy from the victory. “May this victory give confidence to the whole team,” the President wished.
