Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has wished a happy birthday to People’s Artist of Russia Vladimir Menshov.

“Your scintillating directing and acting works have become the classics of the Soviet and Russian cinema, and viewers of various generations like them. People in Belarus appreciate you as a dedicated master, as a person constantly looking to reach new heights,” the felicitation message reads.

The head of state expressed confidence that Vladimir Menshov’s life-affirming creative work will bring joy and good mood to devoted fans, will help enhance cultural cooperation and friendship of Belarusian and Russian people.

Aleksandr Lukashenko also wished Vladimir Menshov strong health, new achievements, happiness and wellbeing.
