Condolences to Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed condolences to Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte, people of this country, families and friends of the victims of tropical storms and a fire in Davao.

“It is with big pain and sorrow that people in Belarus have learned the news about the catastrophic consequences of the tropical cyclones in the Philippines. This natural disaster resulted in numerous victims and massive destruction,” the message of condolences reads. “It is also with deep pain that Belarus has learned the news about a fire at a trade center in Davao which killed about 40 people.”

The head of state wished a speedy recovery to the injured. He also wished the country to return to normal life as soon as possible.
