Commentary to Decree No. 181 of 25 May 2017
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 181 “Concerning the national coordinator for achieving Sustainable Development Goals” on 25 May.
In accordance with the document, an institute of the national coordinator has been established in Belarus. It demonstrates Belarus’ commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goals harmonized by the heads of state at the UN Summit in 2015.
Deputy Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Marianna Shchetkina will be the national coordinator for achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
