Belarus to acquire building in Tbilisi for embassy

Head of state Aleksandr Lukashenko signed an executive order to acquire a building in Tbilisi for an embassy of the Republic of Belarus.

Since its opening in 2016, the diplomatic mission of Belarus in Georgia has been renting premises at the expense of the budget. By acquiring its own building the country will ensure the security of the embassy and make its operation more convenient for citizens. In general, this will show that the cooperation between Minsk and Tbilisi in economic, humanitarian and other areas is serious and long-term.
