Belarus President makes new appointments

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko announced new
appointments on 22 May.
The head of state appointed:
Dmitry Mironchik - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of
the Republic of Belarus to the Kingdom of Sweden;
Alexander Lukashevich - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of
the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Bulgaria and concurrently to the
Hellenic Republic and the Republic of Cyprus;
Vyacheslav Kachanov - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Estonia;
Gennady Palchik - Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under
the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus;
Vladimir Astapenko - non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Chile;
Valery Kolesnik – non-resident Permanent Representative of the Republic
of Belarus at the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN);
Sergei Gusachenko - Deputy Chairman of the National State TV and
Radio Company of Belarus.
The president approved the appointment of:
Mikhail Grishkevich as Chairman of the Kobrin District Executive
Committee;
Alexander Kaminsky as Chairman of the Lyakhovichi District Executive
Committee;
Vadim Bogush as Rector of the Belarusian State University of Informatics
and Radioelectronics;
Alexander Dragan as Rector of the Brest State Technical University;
Pavel Lyogky as First Deputy Information Minister;
Aleksei Krasinsky as Director of the Securities Department of the
Finance Ministry;
Igor Gusev as Director of the Construction Control and Surveillance
Department of the State Committee for Standardization;
Alexander Chaikovsky as Director General of the Research Center for
Bioresources at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus;
Georgy Khvalko as Chief of the Administration of the Brest Oblast
Executive Committee.
