Belarus President makes new appointments
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has made new appointments.
Colonel Gennady Kozlovsky has been appointed head of missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces – head of the missile forces and artillery of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus.
Major General Sergei Potapenko has been appointed head of the main combat training department of the Armed Forces.
Colonel Viktor Khrenin has been appointed Commander of the Western Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Belarus.
Colonel Oleg Melnikov has been appointed Chief of Staff – First Deputy Commander of the Western Operational Command of the Armed Forces.
The Belarusian President signed corresponding decrees on 23 June.
