Aleksandr Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Ukraine

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko as the country celebrates Independence Day.

    “Many-year productive cooperation of the Republic of Belarus and Ukraine relies on respect, support, and mutual interest in the enhancement of kind and friendly relations,” the message of greetings reads.

    The President expressed confidence that the high level of Belarus-Ukraine cooperation, constructive and open dialogue will be developing for the benefit of the people of Belarus and Ukraine.

    Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Petro Poroshenko strong health, happiness, and every success in his responsible work. He also wished Ukrainians peace and prosperity.
