Aleksandr Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Kazakhstan

    President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev as the country celebrates Independence Day.

    “Over the years of sovereignty Kazakhstan has made impressive progress in strengthening its statehood and in socio-economic development, attained recognition in the international arena,” the message of greetings reads.

    The Belarusian head of state is convinced that the relations between Belarus and Kazakhstan will be enhanced on the basis of friendship between the two nations, respect, trust, and mutually beneficial cooperation. The enactment of the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty will help advance bilateral relations to a brand new level, Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked.
