Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings on 70th anniversary of Grodno Oblast

President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the residents of Grodno Oblast as the region celebrates its 70th anniversary.

“Your region is by right called the Belarusian garner. Grodno Oblast grain growers are an example for the entire country. You have been a success in the chemical, light and food industries, manufacture of construction materials. Products of Grodno Oblast enterprises have good quality and sell well on the global market,” the head of state stressed.

The message of greetings reads that wonderful nature, historical and cultural legacy and architectural masterpieces make Grodno Oblast more and more attractive for tourists. Picturesque rural estates and castles, primeval landscapes are the true adornments of the Belarusian land.

Aleksandr Lukashenko also remarked that people have always been Belarus’ main wealth. According to the President, natives of Grodno Oblast fame the Homeland by their labor successes, sport victories and creative achievements.
