Aleksandr Lukashenko sends Border Guard’s Day greetings

President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the senior staff, workers and veterans of the border service as they celebrate their professional holiday - Border Guard’s Day.

“For many years your organization has been one of the key elements of maintaining security in the state. It makes a serious contribution to the creation of favorable working conditions for the participants of international trade and takes all necessary measures to prevent border crimes,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.

The message of greetings reads that in modern conditions Belarusian border guards protect the economic interests not only of Belarus, but also of other Customs Union member states.

“I am convinced that huge professionalism, responsibility and devotion to your work will help you cope with all tasks,” Aleksandr Lukashenko noted.
