Aleksandr Lukashenko hears out report from Andrei Kobyakov and Igor Lyashenko

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko heard out a report from Head of the Belarus President Administration Andrei Kobyakov and First Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian petrochemical concern Belneftekhim Igor Lyashenko on 28 July.

“I would like to hear what is going on in Belneftekhim now, what the situation is. The concern has no chairman now for the reasons you know. However, this is his problem. I warned everyone that there would be zero tolerance to those who behave dishonestly and try to use the public pocket without putting anything there. It is well known to people,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

The President was primarily interested in the work of companies affiliated with the Belneftekhim concern and the situation with human resources, in particular, top management of the company. The head of state reminded that the products made by the companies of the concern generate a significant part of Belarus’ GDP. “It is a very big organization. However, I am concerned about the concern, although there is everything in place for efficient work of its companies,” the Belarusian leader noted.

After the working meeting Aleksandr Lukashenko approved the appointment of Igor Lyashenko as Chairman of the Belarusian petrochemical concern Belneftekhim.
