On 16 May the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, will undertake a tour of the Mogilev region. The Head of State is expected to look at the progress in social and economic development of the Shklov district and visit some manufacturing facilities in the town of Shklov.

On 15 May President Alexander Lukashenko met with Premier Sergei Sidorsky to receive his report on the progress in implementing the national innovative development programme.

"I am satisfied with the current state of relations between the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus and the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation,” said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at today’s meeting with Yuri Chaika, the Prosecutor General of Russia. It is only by joint efforts that it is possible to counteract effectively organised crime in the Belarus-Russia Union State, Alexander Lukashenko added.
