Belarus is grateful to the United Arab Emirates for its support in the international arena, said President Alexander Lukashenko at today’s meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Belarus Mohamed Alraeesi in view of the expiry of the diplomat’s term in office.

On 11 March 2010 an official delegation of the Republic of Belarus will attend the celebrations to mark the 20th anniversary of the restoration of independence of Lithuania. The Belarusian delegation will be headed by Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Burya.
