On 11 July, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko took part in the opening of the 17th International Festival of Arts Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk. The head of state presented a special prize Through Art to Peace and Understanding, Union State prizes in literature and art for 2007-2008.
