Vladimir Putin sends Unity Day greetings to Aleksandr Lukashenko
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has sent Unity Day greetings to President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko.
“Since ancient times Russian and Belarusian peoples have been united by solid ties of friendship, cultural and spiritual solidarity. Resting on fine traditions of the past, we are successfully enhancing mutually beneficial all-round cooperation and constructive partnership in the international arena,” the message of greetings from the Russian President reads.
Vladimir Putin pointed out positive results of the meeting of the Union State Supreme State Council in Saint Petersburg on 15 March. The President of Russia expressed confidence that further development of integration processes would promote the wellbeing of the Russian and Belarusian people and would create opportunities for the development of the Eurasian Economic Union.
