Telephone conversation between Presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko and Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev had a phone talk on 24 May.

The heads of state discussed the development of bilateral relations, interaction within the framework of international organizations, and cooperation in integration associations.

The presidents also discussed the progress in preparations for a session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. Once again Nursultan Nazarbayev invited Aleksandr Lukashenko to visit Astana to take part in the session, which is expected to table the draft treaty on creating the Eurasian Economic Union as well as ways of future integration.
