Tax Officers Day greetings
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko
extended Tax Officers Day greetings to the Belarusian tax authorities.
The president noted that the prosperity of the people and the country in general vastly depends on their work. “Inspiring a sense of civic duty, replenishing the public budget, detecting and preventing economic offenses, creating conditions for healthy competition between the economic entities and individual businessmen – this is by far not the full list of your tasks,” the message of greetings reads.
“The Belarusian tax system is actively growing and improving today. Your task is to make the system simple and easy to understand for the people, government agencies, Belarusian and foreign businessmen. This will make a considerable contribution to encouraging entrepreneurship, attracting domestic and foreign investments to the country, and implementing the major social programs,” Aleksandr Lukashenko noted.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Belarusian tax officers will further work to develop their professional skills and expertise, adopt new advanced practices, and cooperate effectively with other agencies and organizations.
