Victory Day procession in Minsk

On 9 May 2001 Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko took part in the festivities to mark the 56th anniversary of the Victory. A festive procession started on Oktyabrskaya Square and proceeded along the city’s main avenue up to Victory Square, where it culminated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Eternal Flame.
