Working trip to Brest Oblast, visit to Granit company in Mikashevichi

On 16 March 2000, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made a working trip to Brest Oblast and visited the Granit company in Mikashevichi. Upon arriving in the town, the head of state, first of all, talked to its residents, and then went to the enterprise. The focus was on providing the country's construction industry with raw materials.

The president inspected the quarry for the extraction of granite stone, got familiar with the technological process, and talked to miners. The head of state attended a working meeting at the company. Aleksandr Lukashenko gave a number of instructions regarding the modernization of the facility and stressed the need to solve the problems mentioned by the residents of the town as soon as possible.
