President signs decree on visa-free trips for Chinese with passports for official trips
Belarus introduces visa-free trips for the citizens of
the People’s Republic of China with passports for official trips. Corresponding
Decree No. 173 has been signed by Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
The document envisages the introduction of the visa-free entry, departure, transit and temporary stay on the territory of Belarus for the period of up to 30 days for the citizens of the People’s Republic of China with passports for official trips.
Such passports are issues by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Chinese foreign establishments, and departments of foreign affairs of local people’s governments to people occupying the positions of deputy heads of districts and lower, employees of budget-sponsored organizations, state-owned enterprises and joint-stock financial institutions.
This decision aims to further promote Belarus-China business cooperation, first of all, at the interregional level.
The decree enters into force after its official publication.
